W- non-denominational international blather v2

Image
It's all about this non-denominational international blather it surrounds us. The bane is that it cast down upon our basic, humble existence. And it's all about being controlled by our yesterdays faster than we can run towards our tomorrows. Maybe it's the fault of our faulty  Now ,  that coy new  Inner Self , the grand ego-induced illusion that individuality is the sole encumbrance of all of our realities. We've all succumbed to the vague teachings of Yoda, Buddha, and pocketfuls of Hindu lies from Christ.  Certainly not from Christ directly, but cut and paste delusions created by flocks of multi-generational fuck ups. Pompous, privately ordained self-righteous buffoons. These sycophantic half jew followers who believe in their own private and personal store-bought righteousness. Those MAGA-lites who judge others by the lot and sentence them to their previously personalized versions of hell.  ~~~~~> <~~~~~ They're off today, watching the giant...

~ ROUGE -between destinations ~

~ ROUGE between destinations 432 words, 2 minutes read time. World travelers know Jaipur, the Pink City of India and as the jewel of Rajasthan. My wife and I are blessed to own a farm on the outskirts of this picturesque, “world destination city”. We are fortunate to escape the city’s summer heat and the monsoon seasons by skipping across the globe to our Llama Ranch outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. To give you a sense of bearing, we’re not far from the Opera House. Both cities are cited as Official World Heritage Cities. Barring other properties and holdings, these two give us the best of two worlds. So it is. We’re lucky. Go figure. It seems that some people, my editor in particular,  get upset when they can’t find me at home in either city. It’s just that I get tired of everything around me and about me. I just got to find my inner hobo, and go. Disappear from the present, disappear from our homes, and wander. This is when my editor somehow tracks me down and tries to convince me t...

JUST CLONING AROUND

I was in the lab, drifting on and off near sleep, and reflecting on the holograms we were developing.  How they might serve mankind well as disposable proxies for humans in vocations such as search and rescue, police work, firefighting, and other risky occupations. How they might even work as effective decoys and facades, even as actual substitutes for SWAT teams, ICE agents, bomb disposal personnel, and other paramilitary purposes. If we could only make them more functional and durable integrate basic robotic frames into them, like those being developed in our robotics division.   The problem has been that, holograms tend to fade when exposed to sunlight or even bright interior light. They become translucent and even disappear in bright light conditions of any kind. For this reason, I've been formulating a transportable pigmentation process (TPP) to resolve the refraction, reflection, and dispersion of color in tissues that holograms are exposed to in sunli...

W-1 NOW IN 1111 of starlight and black matter... A bit of a rant...

of starlight and black matter... a bit of a rant. I'm never really sure how things get started.  Often, I don't even know where they began. I only know that frequently, material, time, and effort disappear from my writings. More is loss than I can easily blame on my sub-moderate computer skills, or my personal lack of knowledge, or even just simple ignorance. I'm basically a "learn as you go" kind of guy. Until recently, I thought of computers as simple tools, like a hammer, a typewriter, or a toaster. Not "smart" toys by any means. And to be honest, I've some angst towards computers. Occasionally, I've even considered taking a hammer to my laptop, but so far, I have only thrown one into the pool. Am I simply jinxed by the many things my computer demands of me? The apps, programs, accessories, updates, drop-down menus, passwords- don't even get me started about passwords, and the constant looking here or there for six or seven-digit codes o...

TORN CO

TORN CORNERS- PROPOSED SCHEDULE  I began these stories over many years. When I was working, in school, and raising a family. I wrote mostly poetry, but I've always had a bent to express myself with more words, even chapters. Poetry is fun, a way to meet interesting and like-minded people. I managed fair success at it. What I've really wanted is to tell stories. Even s ince grade school,  I've written or begun many works through the years, a few were even submitted in the days of SASE, before emails and PDFs. They, including the sailing and news articles I'd written, are lost. And so I start anew, or from scraps. - dalton, July 14, 2025 COMPLETE STORIES, MISC.
